Manajemen Risiko adalah suatu struktur pengaturan atau mengelola pengaturan pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan risiko atau sebuah kerugian. Manajemen Risiko ini bertujuan untuk memperkecil angka kerugian dalam membuat pekerjaan atau proyek yang kita jalani. Banyak sekali ancaman yang bisa menimbulkan risiko tersebuat contohnya lingkungan, manusia, tekhnologi, organisasi dan lain-lain. Strategi yang bisa digunakan untuk memperkecil risiko antara lain adalah memindahkan risiko, menghindari risiko.

Risiko sangat berhubungan dengan ketidakpastian,ini dikarenakan kurangnya informasi tentang apa yang akan terjadi. Suatu ketidakpastian dapat dibagi menjadi 2 hal yaitu keuntungan dan kerugian. Namun secara umum kita mengenal risiko adalah sebuah hal yang akan menyebabkan kerugian.
